Postman D Sivan
A pack of letters jumbled together to form a string of words has the power to cheer you up. To motivate. To fill you with boundless joy. It can make you jump with excitement. Such is the power of a 'Letter'. And the man who delivers it to your door is the postman. There is a retired postman by the name of D Sivan. He used to travel through dense forests and walked 15kms regularly for 30years to deliver mails to many places in Tamil Nadu. Such people with great sense of duty is hard to find. Through this blog I want to thank all the postmen who carry our loved one's letters for us. My first letter was from my friend Michael Forester in United Kingdom. It accompanied my favourite book by the same friend and author, "If It Wasn't For That Dog." This is one of my greatest treasures. Every time a postman arrives at your door be kind to him.
